I actually live in one of the safest cities in SoCal. He is pretty paranoid but that’s because he works in LA so he sees a lot of horrible crap and he believes you can never be too cautious. Don’t worry you’re not offending me :)

Wow I’ve heard that before but I never really knew for sure. Damn it must be nice to live like that. I wish we were able to have that kind of faith in people over here. Actually my neighbors used to leave their car unlocked because our neighborhood is pretty safe (plus [in their words] its a shitty car anyways lol)

Funny story about my dad though. When my siblings and I were little (I’m talking about early elementary age) he used to drive us down skid road in LA and tell us “If you ever do drugs or drop out of school, this is where you’re going to end up.” Now we don’t even thing about trying any of those crazy drugs. Let me tell you, we were scared straight.
